Javier Robles
Javier Robles is a writer and director based in Los Angeles. Born and raised in Mexico, he fell in love with theater while in High School, touring professionally and performing in over 30 plays and hundreds of performances before reaching the age of 25, while stacking up numerous awards for his creative and innovative work on stage. His career reached a new milestone when he was hand picked to join the National Theater Company in 1998.

Serious about his craft and wanting to grow as an artist he moved to Los Angeles in 2002, the city he now proudly calls home. He has directed several music videos for Latin Alternative icons Kinky, including Inmovil which made several top 10 lists in 2012. His screenplay 1000 won the 2009 Final Draft Latino Screenplay Competition and was an official selection of both the 2009 NALIP Latino Media Market and Writer’s Workshop. Occasionally performing stand-up comedy around Los Angeles, Javier was a finalist in the 2011 92.3 Comedy Talent Search at the legendary Icehouse Comedy Club.

Javier has spent the last two years writing and producing the film Goleiro, based on the powerful true story of the greatest upset in the history of sports, “The greatest story never told, of the greatest game ever played.”
