Edie Hand

Edie Hand is a businesswoman, speaker, media personality, filmmaker, international author, and mom. She has authored, co-authored, or assisted in the development of more than 20 books. Her personal titles include inspirational books, cookbooks and novellas. The business world knows Edie for her many acts of kindness and as a lady that knows how to pay life forward.

Edie has starred in national commercials, daytime television soaps, and has hosted numerous radio and television shows nationwide. She has been the CEO of Hand N’ Hand Advertising, Inc. since 1976 while actively involved in the Alliance for Women in Media (known as American Women in Radio & Television) for more than 40 years. Edie has also been a member of the Alabama Broadcasters Association for over 15 years.

She is the founder of The Genuine Pearl Girl Society, and the Edie Hand Foundation, which was created after the loss of her three young brothers and her numerous battles with cancer. Edie’s mission is to help make life better for others. The foundation helps to benefit The Children’s Hospital of Alabama, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN, and assists with education and supplies for orphans in Asia through the Ramini Kids Foundation.

She is a 40 year veteran in developing radio, television, and film projects. Edie’s family heritage is rich in song writing, acting, and music from the Hood-Hacker Presley family and her legendary cousin, Elvis Presley. Edie’s recent venture, Hand N’ Hand Entertainment, Inc. develops films, music projects, and television programming. Their first film project was a documentary, The Last Ride, based on her novella, The Last Christmas Ride, which premiered in the fall of 2016.

Edie is an alumnus of the University of North Alabama, and her son, Linc Hand, lives in Hollywood, California while she resides in her Alabama based home.
